Mathematical Vertical Teaming
The goal of this session is to equip Math teachers with the strategies and tools to engage students in active
and advanced learning preparation for AP and college-level course work with a focus on precision and
multi-step problem solving.
English Vertical Teaming
This session will allow English teachers to address the transition to Common Core as it relates to
rigor and college/career readiness. The focus will be argumentative writing and active reading of a comples text.

This session focuses on improving the culture by promoting the vision that AP is the capstone of
a rigourous high school experience and AP is part of the culture not just a class.
New to AP - Syllabus Writing - Room #

Take some time during this session to explore your syllabus and prepare for the coming year.
AP teachers and Blogs/Discussion Boards - Room #
This session focuses utilizing technology such as blogs and electronic discussion boards
to increase student-to-student as well as teacher-to-student interaction.
Activities for Post AP exams - Room #
Are you looking for ideas to make the weeks after the exam more valuable? This session will offer
ideas and resources not only to keep students engaged, but also to promote your AP Program.
